The Bachelor of Health Science (Occupational Therapy) is an intensive, three-year programme combining classroom, interprofessional, and clinical experiences to develop the skills needed to become an occupational therapist. Students learn how to help people of all ages participate fully in everyday life by addressing barriers to learning, self-care, mobility, and social interaction. The degree includes significant workplace experience, and graduates are eligible to register as occupational therapists in New Zealand and internationally.

Face-to-face learning in a physical classroom setting
North Campus, Auckland
It will take a total of 3 years

Use research and enquiry to guide professional reasoning and intervention decisions in occupational therapy practice.
University Entrance or equivalent
Capable of meeting Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act (HPCA Act) and Children’s Act 2014 requirements, including police clearance
IELTS (Academic) 7.0 overall with all bands 6.5 or higher if English is not the first language or three years secondary schooling not completed in New Zealand
In-person study
