It will take a total of 87 weeks

Work alongside people with brain injury to help achieve rehabilitation goals and support their independence.

Work collaboratively with other health and wellbeing professionals and others involved in a person’s care.

Demonstrate knowledge of kawa and tikanga and relate the unique place Māori have as tangata whenua in Aotearoa in their professional role.
This Level 4 apprenticeship leads to the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 4) Rehabilitation Support, Brain Injury strand. Designed for staff working in hospital, residential and community-based settings, it develops tools and strategies to support clients' independence and rehabilitation goals. The programme emphasises on-job learning, collaboration with health professionals, cultural awareness, professionalism, and leadership in health and wellbeing environments.
