Create high-quality care plans tailored to the needs of a variety of people and groups.
This apprenticeship is designed for those working as Diversional or Recreational Therapists, Activity Coordinators, or in related roles within the health and community sectors. The programme provides comprehensive training to enhance emotional, spiritual, and physical wellbeing for clients, whānau, and families. Supported through on-the-job and online learning, apprentices gain critical thinking, reflective practice, and leadership skills. On successful completion, graduates can seek registration as Diversional and Recreational Therapists in Aotearoa.
