Implement best practices to maintain a safe and effective work environment in health and wellbeing settings.

Assist and empower individuals and their families when accessing services, particularly those with complex care needs.

Collaborate with others and delegate tasks to contribute constructively to team outcomes in the workplace.
The NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Advanced Care and Support) (Level 4) is designed for those currently employed or volunteering in the support sector who want to deepen their knowledge and abilities. The programme is suitable for individuals working with people living with complex needs, palliative care, advanced dementia, or those leading support teams. The course develops competencies in safe work practices, teamwork, communication, supporting individuals and families, and professional behaviour in health and wellbeing contexts.
What you need to know first
Currently employed or volunteering in a related field
Completion of NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Support Work) Level 3 or equivalent, or support letter/declaration from workplace
