Students will be able to provide advanced support to individuals with complex needs and their families/whānau.

Graduates will develop and apply evidence-based clinical and leadership skills in their workplaces, particularly within aged care.

This work-based Level 4 certificate is designed for current health and clinical support workers/caregivers, focusing on advanced care skills for those with complex needs and development for leadership in healthcare workplaces, especially aged care. The programme is delivered via work-based and online learning, equipping students with evidence-based models of care, collaborative and safe healthcare practices, and applied leadership skills.
What you need to know first
New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 3) in Health Assistance or Support Work strand or equivalent qualification
OR three years' paid employment experience in the Health and Wellbeing sector
