The New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Health Assistance) (Level 3) is designed for those wishing to work as, or upskill in, healthcare assistance. You will learn to provide person-centred health care under professional direction, explore impacts of health issues on individuals and communities, and learn best practices for supporting people with multiple conditions or disabilities. The course features blended delivery, with in-class and online learning combined, plus at least 100 hours of practical experience in a relevant organisation.
