The New Zealand Diploma in Ambulance Practice (Level 5) prepares those already working as first responders for the next step as Emergency Medical Technicians. Over 18 months, students develop clinical knowledge, practical and professional skills for providing effective out-of-hospital care, including simulation training in block courses and blended, part-time study. Graduates are equipped to manage emergencies, communicate with stakeholders, and act ethically and legally within the ambulance context.
