This programme provides a comprehensive foundation in the principles and practice of architecture. Students will develop the skills in drawing, design, and graphic presentation necessary for expressing architectural concepts. The curriculum covers areas such as urban housing design, environmental sustainability in construction, New Zealand building law, contract management, and Māori perspectives in architecture. What you need to know first
Successful completion of New Zealand Diploma in Architectural Technology; OR
At least 3 ‘C’ passes in NZ University Bursaries Examinations; OR
42 credits at NCEA Level 3 or higher (including specific subject requirements)
University Entrance Literacy requirements; OR IELTS (Academic) overall 6.0 with no band below 5.5 or equivalent (for non-native English speakers)
Applicants 16 years and older, including international students, must also meet country-specific admission requirements
