This programme provides a comprehensive foundation in the principles and practice of architecture. Students will develop the skills in drawing, design, and graphic presentation necessary for expressing architectural concepts. The curriculum covers areas such as urban housing design, environmental sustainability in construction, New Zealand building law, contract management, and Māori perspectives in architecture. Recognised by key industry bodies, the degree offers integrated hands-on projects, real-world placements, and opportunities for international study. Graduates are equipped with both the academic preparation and practical experience needed for progress toward professional registration as an architect.
