Demonstrate the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others in a professional beauty therapy setting.

Gain experience and competence in a range of foundational beauty therapy techniques suitable for entry level positions.

Strengthen core literacy, numeracy, and information technology skills applied in beauty therapy contexts.
Subject to NZQA approval. The New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills (Level 2) - Beauty aims to introduce students to beauty therapy, working collaboratively, and developing foundational literacy, numeracy, and IT skills relevant in a beauty therapy context. The programme is designed to support learners to progress into further beauty therapy studies or entry level employment, with a focus on teamwork and basic beauty therapy techniques.
What you need to know first
At least 16 years old at the time programme commences
Able to read, write, and communicate in English at a basic level
