Demonstrate knowledge of workplace requirements for employment in a salon.

Describe the relevance of anatomy and physiology knowledge to beauty therapy practice.

Provide client service and care in hairdressing or beauty salons and assist operators.
This programme offers year 12-13 secondary students an introduction to the hairdressing and beauty services industry. Students will learn practical salon skills, explore career pathways in hair and beauty, develop personal presentation, client service, communication, and employability skills. The course provides experience in fully equipped salons while working towards a nationally recognised NZQA qualification.
