Increase understanding of one's own personality, cultural competence, and unconscious bias to improve leadership effectiveness.
Develop and apply communication skills
Use a variety of communication methods to interact constructively with team members and cultivate trust.
What You're Signing Up For
The Emerging Leadership course provides emerging and new managers in the primary sector with practical skills to lead teams, communicate effectively, develop emotional intelligence, and build a positive, culturally competent team culture. It combines online and in-person instruction, including principles of whanaungatanga and te ao Māori, for 2ICs, herd managers, and new managers.
