The qualification also covers broad business knowledge including operations, accounting, marketing/sales, human resources, risk management, innovation, and organisational change. It includes an understanding of te Tiriti o Waitangi's application in business contexts and professional ethical practices. The programme consists of compulsory courses in business contexts and a project management strand with courses on principles, methodologies, tools, and applied project management. Completion offers a pathway into the second year of a Bachelor of Applied Management.
