This certificate programme provides knowledge and practical skills for starting, managing, and growing a small business in New Zealand. Learners will develop business plans suitable for external stakeholders, manage finances, HR, marketing, and technology, nurture business relationships, and operate their ventures in a professional, ethical, and culturally responsible manner.
What you need to know first
40 credits at NCEA Level 1, including 10 Literacy credits and 10 Numeracy credits; or a recognised equivalent; or a relevant qualification at NZQF Level 2 or above.
Special Admission: 20 years of age or older, without standard requirements.
Discretionary Admission: Under 20 but not meeting standard requirements, assessed for preparedness.
