The New Zealand Diploma in Applied Science (Level 5) is designed to provide you with foundational skills and practical laboratory experience for employment as a technician in science and technology industries. The programme covers chemistry, microbiology, statistics, biochemistry, and quality assurance in industry labs, and supports pathways to further study in applied science or related disciplines.
What you need to know first
NCEA Level 2 including 14 credits in science OR a Level 4 qualification in science OR relevant equivalent.
Special Admission: 20 years or older and not met general requirements may be eligible.
