This programme provides the wider construction trades sector with work-ready people who have developed essential transferable skills and foundational knowledge across a wide range of construction-related trades, with particular emphasis on carpentry. Graduates can seek employment as labourers or apprentices and will be prepared for higher-level qualifications in construction.
What you need to know first
Building, Construction and Allied Trades qualification at Level 2 including NCEA Level 2 Vocational Pathway in Construction and Infrastructure sector or equivalent knowledge and skills is preferred.
