Demonstrate practices and procedures to ensure a safe work environment in fencing operations.

Safely operate and maintain equipment and machinery as required in fencing workplaces.
The New Zealand Certificate in Fencing (Level 3) is designed specifically for the fencing industry in association with Fencing Contractors Association NZ (FCANZ). The programme is a blend of in-work learning, site visits, online coursework, and periodic block courses. It covers health and safety, equipment operation, rural vehicle use, construction and maintenance of rural fences, and offers practical and industry-focused training in line with employer needs. On completion, graduates are equipped to work as rural fencers or in related roles within rural enterprises.
What you need to know first
Be at least 16 years old at the time the programme commences.
Be able to read, write, and communicate in English at a basic level.
