The New Zealand Diploma in Animation (Level 6) is a one year full-time programme that teaches you to craft rich animated storytelling experiences using industry standard techniques and technology. You will become part of a collaborative, creative team environment, developing skills in 3D animation and visual effects, digital and studio drawing, character and story development, sound production, and project management. Delivered in a HyFlex (onsite or flexible distance) format, the diploma prepares you with the skills required for employment in the animation, screen, and creative industries or for further study.

All applicants must submit a portfolio and attend an interview
University Entrance (NCEA Level 3) with required literacy and numeracy credits OR evidence of aptitude or relevant experience for those over 20 years
Portfolio: 10 free-hand drawings and examples of recent artwork, academic transcripts, and a handwritten statement outlining interests and goals
