The Bachelor of Creative Media at UCOL is a three-year, Level 7 degree designed to prepare aspiring creatives for dynamic careers in visual culture and creative industries. Students combine wide-ranging digital technologies and arts in areas such as graphic design, illustration, photography, video, and 3D modelling. The program features innovative, project-based learning, real client interactions through a work-integrated 'Workhub', and opportunities to specialise in chosen media. This course requires 40 hours per week
Complete 380 hours of work-integrated learning with real clients, fostering workplace skills and professional practices for the creative sector.

Understand and apply concept creation, logic, imagination, and critical reasoning to solve problems and deliver meaningful outcomes in various creative industries.
University Entrance (UE) or equivalent academic achievement (for applicants under 20)
Provisional enrolment (Discretionary Entrance) as per NZQA if not meeting standard entry
Minimum 14 credits in an approved subject at NCEA Level 2 plus literacy and numeracy for UE (for provisional applicants)
International: Equivalent overseas secondary achievement; IELTS Academic 6.0 (no band lower than 5.5) or equivalent
