The Bachelor of Design (Product) at Otago Polytechnic is an immersive, project-driven programme where students learn to design products, services, and systems with a focus on human needs and sustainability. Master prototyping, model-making, CAD software, material technologies, and production methods.
14 credits at Level 3 in each of three NZQA approved university entrance subjects
10 Literacy credits at Level 2 or above (5 reading, 5 writing)
10 Numeracy credits at Level 1 or above
Portfolio submission (unless exempted by automatic entry or pre-approval)
Or equivalent qualifications/experience (provisional entry possible)
IELTS 6.0 academic (minimum 6.0 writing and speaking, 5.5 reading and listening), or NZ University Entrance, for non-native English speakers
