Demonstrate the ability to self-manage and participate in social, cultural, family/whānau, and community situations.

Develop effective communication skills for daily and workplace situations.

Apply practices that support personal health, wellbeing, and safety.
This programme supports learners with intellectual disabilities to build foundational skills for living and participating productively in Aotearoa society. Students develop self-management, social, and communication capabilities to enhance their independence and support future educational and employment opportunities. The course consists of practical learning in areas such as daily living, personal health, responsible citizenship, and workplace readiness.
