The Education - Bachelor of Arts (Honours) at AUT is designed for graduates with a background in education who want to extend their expertise, engage in significant research, and position themselves for further study at master's or doctoral level. The programme consists of advanced theoretical studies, a compulsory research methods paper, and a supervised 60-point dissertation. It is not an initial teacher education qualification and does not lead to registration with the Teaching Council.
