Understand and apply the underlying principles of electrical theory and practice relevant to entry-level industry standards.

Install cables and electrical equipment and perform tasks related to electrical machines under supervision.

This Level 3 Certificate is designed for people entering further training or entry-level employment in the electrical industry or related fields. The programme delivers core electrical knowledge and practical skills including electrical theory and practice, installing equipment and cables, testing, product selection, tools, industry safety practices, CPR, and knowledge of relevant legislation. Graduates will work safely under the supervision of a licensed electrical worker and are prepared for electrical apprenticeships.
