This qualification provides you with the skills and knowledge based on Tiaki Taiao (environmental guardianship) to work independently to contribute to the future care and development of te Taiao (the environment) for whānau, hapū, iwi, and community. Learn to use Māori frameworks for investigating environmental issues and problem-solving, communicate with Māori communities, and apply both mātauranga Māori and contemporary approaches to environmental management.
