What You're Signing Up For
This one-year, Level 5 diploma provides practical and theoretical knowledge for roles in environmental management and conservation. Students study the biology and ecology of living species and habitats, develop skills in surveying, risk management, and reporting, and explore issues of environmental sustainability. The programme combines classroom learning with field trips to diverse locations, providing hands-on experience, and prepares graduates for employment or further study in environmental and ecological disciplines. Elective options include biosecurity, aquaculture, waste and fisheries management.
