The Bachelor of Social and Environmental Sustainability (BSEnS) at the University of Canterbury is designed to provide students with skills and knowledge to understand, critique, and create change in major global problems such as climate change, pollution, and social inequality. Students will take interdisciplinary courses across environmental science, policy, indigenous partnerships, community leadership, and can choose a major and minor from a wide list of related fields. The degree includes compulsory courses that build systems thinking, communication, problem-solving, and real-world application through an internship.
