This course covers the principles and practices of crop management specifically for agricultural and vegetable seed crops. It introduces seed quality assurance concepts and post-harvest seed technologies. Students will learn about seed production, processing, storage, assessment, and management of seed supplies. The course also addresses seed development stages, physiological processes in germination and dormancy, relationships among seed yield components, and marketing and distribution issues related to quality seed.
