Use breeding records to assist in selecting replacement animals and applying culling criteria effectively.

Sheep Production is a 15-credit course at Lincoln University that covers the concepts and management systems involved in sheep nutrition, breeding, reproduction, animal health, development, wool growth, carcass growth and performance influencing factors. Students will learn to manage feeding, breeding records, mating programs, disease control, and carcass grading to optimize sheep production systems.
