Confidently drive a quad bike and tractor, build fences, and drench livestock as part of everyday farm operations.

Demonstrate an understanding of animal health, anatomy, and nutrition, as well as managing soils and pasture for optimal production.

This one-year full-time certificate prepares you for your first job in the agricultural sector, such as farm assistant or general farm hand. The course covers soils and pasture production, livestock health and nutrition, handling and welfare, farm maintenance, and agriculture-related technologies. Students gain real-world experience with two days a week of practical placement, develop foundational knowledge of animal and plant biology, and learn to operate essential farm machinery.
