Demonstrate understanding and application of strategies to improve soil quality and manage nutrient availability organically.

Ability to assess and implement practices to improve biodiversity within an organic production system.
This Level 4 certificate equips individuals working in or passionate about the organic primary sector with practical and theoretical skills to develop and monitor a production plan meeting organic standards. The course covers organic nutrient management, soil health, crop requirements, and hands-on growing of vegetables, fruits, and herbs. Delivery is face-to-face, in a dynamic and practical environment, supported by experienced tutors, and includes opportunities to apply learning on personal or local organic farms. Graduates will have the capability to self-manage in the organic sector and may take on responsibility for others.
