English language proficiency: IELTS 5.0 Academic (no lower than 5.0 in any subtest) or equivalent per NZQA chart.
Physical fitness and ability to work in and around water; recommended ability to swim.
Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening prior to Semester 2 work placement.
Medical declaration required on entry adhering to Health and Safety in at Work Act 2015.
Entry-level aquaculture specialist
Achieve boating and maritime qualifications, including sea survival, navigation, knots, and practical marine operations.
