Perform front-of-house operations including customer service, teamwork, and effective communication.
This course is designed for secondary school students interested in starting a career in hospitality. It covers practical skills such as preparing and cooking café-style food, making espresso coffee, front-of-house restaurant service, knife skills, effective customer service, communication, and health and safety practices within hospitality environments. Completion leads to the New Zealand Certificate in Hospitality (Level 2). The programme is fully funded for most students and is delivered on campus in Cromwell.
