The Health Bridging Certificate (Level 4 only) at Otago Polytechnic is the second part of a pathway for students seeking entry into diploma or degree-level health programmes. It is ideal for students who do not currently meet academic entry criteria and want to build relevant study skills, health knowledge, and confidence in a supportive environment. The programme is delivered via blended or online modes and prepares graduates for further study in health areas such as nursing, midwifery, occupational therapy, social services, and applied sciences. Successful completion may meet academic requirements for higher-level health qualifications.
