It will take a total of 4 years

Students will design and execute research in health practice, applying evidence-based methods to address complex health challenges.

Graduates will critically assess and implement innovations and initiatives to improve health outcomes and reduce disparities.

The Doctor of Health Sciences (DHSc) offers health professionals a platform to evaluate health innovations, reduce health outcome disparities, generate evidence for improved practice and service delivery, or conduct research into population health needs. The programme develops collaborative, research, and community engagement skills essential for innovation in clinical and non-clinical health roles.
What you need to know first
Aotearoa New Zealand honours or master's degree, or an equivalent qualification
At least five years of relevant professional health practice
