Demonstrate broad knowledge of human biology (health science), hauora, and health and wellbeing in Aotearoa New Zealand, the Pacific, and globally.

Articulate and apply knowledge of Tikanga, te reo Māori and Te Tiriti o Te Waitangi in health contexts.
The Bachelor of Health (BHealth) is designed to develop health sector leaders able to address complex health issues across Aotearoa and beyond. The programme focuses on a holistic and preventative health approach, integrating biomedical sciences, epidemiology, bioethics, health communication, Māori, Pacific and Indigenous health perspectives, psychology, sociology, policy, and statistics. Students learn to engage with and promote health in diverse communities, with an emphasis on cultural competency, equity, and practical skills that support individual, whanau, and community wellbeing.
