This eight-week Trauma Informed Care micro-credential enhances the proficiency of professionals in applying trauma-informed principles and practices. The course covers multidimensional trauma, embedding trauma-informed approaches, understanding historical and intergenerational trauma in Aotearoa, and ensuring both client and practitioner well-being. Learners gain the knowledge, tools, and confidence to apply a holistic, empathetic, and evidence-based approach to trauma care across health, social services, education, and justice environments.
