This programme offers a comprehensive immersion experience in te reo Māori language and culture. It develops active and passive sentence structures, negations, and cultural expressions such as waiata, mōteatea, pūrākau, karakia, whakataukī, and kīwaha. The course encourages stepping out of comfort zones to practice pepeha and use the language confidently in various settings, enhancing both linguistic and cultural knowledge. It is designed for those wishing to advance their te reo Māori skills with full or part-time options available at multiple locations. The qualification attained is the New Zealand Certificate in Te Reo Level 3 (NZQA Code NZ3045).
