Apply knowledge and skills in creative writing to develop and produce original works for a selected audience, platform or purpose.

Analyse, critique and provide feedback on written works, adhering to practices in the creative industries.

Work both independently and as part of a team to critically evaluate your own and others' written work.
The New Zealand Diploma in Creative Writing (Level 6) equips students to further their craft in genres of their choice, compose original work, critique and edit texts, and acquire business skills vital for success as a writer. The qualification is taught by specialist tutors, enables students to work on novels, scripts, collections or non-fiction, and covers writing for online publication, self-publishing, professional practices, and advanced editing. Delivery is mainly online with regional workshops for support.
