This programme is designed for people who already use intermediate-level English in everyday situations and wish to further improve their English for study or work. Students learn English from patient, experienced teachers, work in small groups, meet native speakers, listen to guest speakers, and develop study skills through self-directed learning and group work. The qualification is nationally recognised and provides a pathway to further study at Otago Polytechnic or other institutes. Both full-time and part-time options are available.
Entry Requirements
New Zealand Certificate in English Language (Level 2) or equivalent.
Placement test on arrival to determine suitable level.
