The General English Plus Examination Preparation (Training Scheme) is designed to improve English language proficiency, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills for everyday and academic contexts. The programme prepares students for further ESOL or mainstream study and supports effective communication in community, work, and study settings. Students are tested on entry for placement, and learn with peers from diverse backgrounds in a supportive environment.
What you need to know first
Students must be at least 16 years of age.
Entry is subject to placement test to determine the required English language level.
