It will take a total of 18 weeks
This course requires 20 hours per week

Demonstrate vocabulary and grammatical structures at an advanced - intermediate level.

Communicate effectively in Te Reo Māori in formal, informal, social, workplace, and whānau settings.

Show understanding of links between language, land, environment, people, and stories as expressions of mana whenua.
This Level 3 programme develops your Te Reo Māori language skills by taking you beyond basic knowledge and into intermediate language structures and cultural understanding. You'll gain increased confidence through bilingual, interactive learning, exploring active and passive sentence structures, vocabulary, tenses, and Māori cultural practices, including waiata and karakia. The course is the first part of a learning pathway progressing to higher-level immersion and the Level 4 certificate.
