The programme offers flexibility via eight-week teaching blocks, allowing study around other commitments. Students develop strengths, critical eye, understanding of the writing business, and find their place in the creative writing landscape. Writing may be submitted in English or te reo Māori. The diploma can be completed full-time in one year or part-time, entirely online, with courses designed to build progressively.
