Develop mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills from Level 1 up to Level 3.
This short summer course lets you gain the required NCEA Level 2 mathematics skills needed to apply for the New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical) at Otago Polytechnic. The programme progresses from Level 1 to Level 3 mathematics over four weeks, with content designed specifically for prospective engineering students who lack this entry requirement. Completion provides eligibility for diploma application, provided other Level 2 entry requirements are met.

You must meet all other Level 2 entry requirements for the engineering diploma except mathematics.
