What You're Signing Up For
Ara's Managed Automotive Apprenticeships offer tailored, work-based learning for those entering or advancing within the automotive industry. Apprenticeships are structured via night classes and workplace visits, focusing on upskilling with trade qualifications such as the Certificate in Automotive Engineering (Level 3) and progressing to the Certificate in Light Automotive Engineering (Level 4). Apprentices develop technical know-how while working and receiving guidance from industry professionals.
Course Content
- Night classes (6pm-9pm, one per week, for 36 weeks per year)
- Four workplace visits per year
- Industry-tailored apprenticeship planning
- Practical and theoretical automotive training
- Workplace-based learning and skill development
- Preparation for NZ Certificates in Automotive Engineering (Level 3) and Light Automotive Engineering (Level 4)
