The New Zealand Certificate in Automotive Engineering (Level 3) at Lifeskills Training + Education is designed to equip students with essential skills to service and maintain general automotive systems, with an emphasis on light motor vehicles. The programme features hands-on training and covers the fundamentals required for an entry-level career as an automotive technician.
What you need to know first
Motor Industry qualification at Level 2, including NCEA Level 2 Vocational Pathway in the Manufacturing and Technology Sector, or equivalent knowledge and skills is preferred.
All applicants must be 16 years of age or over and be able to demonstrate readiness in literacy and numeracy.
