Step into engineering fabrication with this four-year managed apprenticeship, delivered part-time to working apprentices. Learn about engineering materials, fabrication and welding processes, health & safety, reading drawings and calculations, and more. Graduates can become independent tradespeople in either Heavy Fabrication or Light Fabrication sectors, able to work in a range of fabrication and construction contexts. The programme is tailored for apprentices employed in the industry and balances work-based practice with structured learning opportunities including night classes, day release, block courses, and online modules.

40 credits NCEA Level 1, including 10 literacy credits and 10 numeracy credits (or equivalent)
