The Certificate in Science and Technology at AUT is designed for students seeking an introduction to engineering, computing, or mathematics, and for those returning to study who want to build academic and study skills for tertiary study. The programme consists of core and elective foundation courses tailored to support future degree-level study in STEM fields. Students study academic literacies and select further courses in programming, engineering, mathematics, or physics, according to their pathway of interest.
What you need to know first
Completion of Year 12 (New Zealand or equivalent)
NCEA: 48 level 2 credits or higher, plus 8 level 1 credits in an approved subject
