The Otago Bachelor of Arts (BA) offers students the opportunity to select from over 40 arts and social science subjects, promoting flexibility and encouraging cross-disciplinary learning. Students develop critical thinking, empathy, and leadership skills for a diverse range of careers. The programme structure allows for a change in major or the addition of minor subjects and emphasizes development of analytical and communication abilities. Students engage in at least 360 points of study, with a significant proportion at advanced levels, and have options for double or combined degrees.
