The programme features core academic and communication modules as well as specialisations in health, social services, creative industries, or early childhood. Students benefit from supportive teaching, flexible delivery, and direct progression opportunities to Wintec diplomas and degrees or entry into diverse employment sectors.

40 credits at NCEA Level 2 including 10 literacy credits at NCEA Level 2 and 10 numeracy credits at NCEA Level 1; or recognised equivalent
