Students gain a strong foundation in nursing theory, social and biological sciences, professional practice, and research.

EIT’s Bachelor of Nursing prepares students to enter practice as a registered nurse. The programme balances theoretical studies with nursing practice in acute and community settings. You will develop professional nursing knowledge, practice skills, and leadership, with a strong foundation in science, research, and health equity. Graduates are eligible to apply for registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and are highly employable in the health sector.
