The Bachelor of Nursing at NMIT/Te Pūkenga is an evidence-based programme designed to prepare students for a rewarding career as a registered nurse. The programme combines online and in-person learning, with simulated and practical clinical experiences across diverse health and community settings. Students develop professional skills, critical thinking, and the ability to respond to complex healthcare needs. Over 1,100 hours of clinical placement are included, and graduates are eligible to sit the Nursing Council of New Zealand's State Final Examination to become registered nurses.

New Zealand University Entrance (NCEA Level 3, with 14 credits at Level 3 in English/literacy, Biology or Physical Education or Chemistry, and one other approved subject)
